Junior Technology Architect – Architecture Practice
Within Accenture’s Technology, the Architecture Practice aims at developing though leadership, architecture reference models and assets while helping Accenture’s clients thriving in a world of constant change where strategic use of emerging technologies, new organizational models and innovation are key differentiators between leaders and laggards.
We are looking for Junior Technology Architects to join and help lead our growing European team, operating across all stages of the innovation spectrum, with a remit to help our clients building the future in real-time.
Your job
You will be part of a global team of Architects that helps Accenture clients navigating technology innovations to help them creating and delivering next generation solutions. We are looking for Junior Technology Architects with strong desire to learn and deep understanding of how rapidly growing technologies, new delivery approaches, and advanced architecture paradigms transform the IT landscape.
You will be travelling across Europe on a regular basis to help different client accounts delivering complex solutions, while collaborating at the same time to the growth of the Architecture Practice.
As a Junior Technology Architect, you will be:
Part of a highly experienced and senior team in a fast-paced environment;
Work on delivering complex IT solutions for Accenture’s clients;
Contributing to the development of strong relationships with technology vendors to influence emerging product strategies;
Sensing the market for disruptive technologies and potential future areas of investment;
Contributing to the development of new IT frameworks, methods tools, and championing them with our clients and within Accenture’s Technology practice;
Help performing Technology Architecture Assessments;
Estimating Technology Architecture solution complexity and cost;
Designing and implementing technology solutions;
Your team

Your background:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent;
Be familiar with technology engineering, i.e. developing capabilities and supporting opportunities, projects, and initiatives around:
Technology innovation governance and strategy;
Technology assessments, reviews and QAs;
Enterprise roadmaps, technology blueprints and estimating;
An interest in designing and developing in areas of emerging technology (AI, Analytics, IoT, Blockchain, Immersive Realities) and in driving new points of view and capabilities;
Appetite in growing one or more of the following skills:
Cloud architecture;
Microservices and API Management;
On-premise and cloud infrastructure: management of servers, storage, networking or security;
Lightweight application architectures, such as AngularJS, React and Node.JS;
Open source technologies in virtualization and operating system, databases, app and web tiers, big data analytics;
Presentation and integration technology of any big vendor;
Knowledge and interest in any of the following technologies:
Artificial Intelligence;
Internet of Things;
Adaptive infrastructures, IaaS and PaaS;
Containers and Docker;
Microservices;
Continuous Delivery;
Resilient architectures;
Agile methodologies at scale;
Professional skills requirements:
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
Ability to work in dynamic environment;
Business-grade fluency (oral and written) in English is mandatory;
Business-grade fluency (oral and written) in one or more of the languages of the other European countries is highly desired;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Good leadership and management skills.
